To create this experiment, I created different windows that open out to exenterate different parts of the photo. I chose to layer the image in monochrome over the image in colour so that when I peeled back the folds it would reveal the colourful and bright side to the image.

This adds to the image because it helps to focus the viewer on the women's face and the two colourful sections. By doing this edit I have controlled the narrative of the image and created a more interesting and captivating photo.

To create this experiment, I flipped the image and then printed out two in colour and one in black and white. I then stuck the flipped image to the monochrome image and then cut the windows. Finally, I stuck the original colour image underneath the other two to create the final experiment.
